President Greg Cramblit “Kicked Out”

By Ron Smith

IMG_0400On Tuesday June 26 The Groveland Rotary Club celebrated the “kick out” of Greg Cramblit, the 2017-2018 President. The gavel was handed to the 2018-2019 President, Donald Felts.  The reason for the fancy frog hat on Greg’s head is because he used to own Froggy’s  Bar and Pub in Capitola for many  years. Needless to say the theme for the evening was anything “Frog” like frog jokes etc. Greg performed an excellent job over the past year on local and international projects. We thank You Greg for all your work and guidance. We wish Don an equally successful job in the upcoming season.

On Friday June 22nd President Greg Cramblit of the Groveland Rotary presented a check of $5000 to the Groveland Community Services District board president Robert Swan to get the repair of Groveland’s Mary Laveroni Community Park started.  The park was heavily damaged on March 22nd 2018 during the atmospheric river flood that struck the area.  The funds have been collected from gofundme.com, district Rotary clubs and concerned local residents from the Groveland area.
