Village on the Hill

On Tuesday, January 27, Luci Tyndall from the Southside Senior Services was our guest speaker.
Her topic was the creation of an organization to help and assist our local seniors. The program is called “Village on the Hill”.
Village on the Hill is a nonprofit organization that provides services for seniors through an extensive volunteer program supported by a small paid administrative staff. Many volunteers will also be members, using their talents and skills to meet the needs of our neighbors.
March 15, 2015 will be the starting date of the pilot program and by May 1, 2015 the full program will commence.

Rotarians providing clean water

For millions of people throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America, getting clean water is a daily struggle. In fact, more than 80% of all sickness in the world is attributed to unsafe water. Nearly 1 billion people are without access to improved water sources and every 8 seconds, a child dies because of this crisis. But we can change that.  Join us in providing clean water and sanitation to literally save lives!
